Ashlea Wilken

Coming to yoga over 40 years ago, Ashlea helped found the WA School of Yoga with Senior Iyengar teacher John Leebold. From 2000-2023 she owned and taught at Yoga West.

In 1995 Ashlea returned to study with the Iyengar family in Pune on a regular basis as well as the Australian Yoga Convention in 2009 with Geeta Iyengar and 2011 at the National Convention in South Africa. She is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher and continues an ongoing teacher development with Caroline Coggins and other senior teachers here in Australia.

In 2023, Ashlea moved to Augusta where she teaches weekly classes. She continues to co-teach the Yoga West annual Bali retreat in Munduk. Ashlea caters for all levels with the experience and sensitivity of decades of practice.
